The PLA Navy Project 052C DDG(170/171) was designed for aerial defense, anti-submarine and anti-surface ship warfare.
She is the first Chinese DDG equipped with phased Array panels and vertical launch systems. 4 fixed phased Array antennas embedded in the forward superstructure. The Top Plate S/C air search radar has been replaced by Type SR64 surface/air search radar on top of the foremast. 052C equipped with the HHQ-9 VLS launcher, instead of The Russian RIF-M. Length overall: 154 m, Beam: 17m, Displacement: 7000 tons.
