PRODUCT DETAILS
The Mobile Suit RGM-79 GM Sniper is a mass-produced ground long-range combat suit, and is a variant to the RGM-7 Ground Type. The unit is featured in the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team.
The Sniper is designed solely for long range combat. Often these Mobile Suits are not equipped with the various hand-carried standard weapons that a GM Ground Type has, and is armed solely with a single Long Range Beam Rifle. This rifle is meant for long range combat and is equipped with high powered optics for spotting and aiming, so its power requirements is too much for the GM Sniper's generator alone, so the suit itself is fitted with a large, powerful external generator.
